We now support over 250 countries and over 3000 different geographical regions for Public Holidays.

Your existing custom locations remain if you had any. Both newly selected and existing regions will be updated and maintained automatically.

Oh and we updated the flags too.

Select a Public Holiday region from the Allowances tab in a user’s profile and we’ll take care of the rest.

We’ve just released a nice small feature, that a few of you have asked for previously.

You can now specify whether or not your leave types should apply to the “Max Off” rules for your department. So, for example, you might want to exclude “sickness” from being included, since people can’t help being off ill.

Despite it being a fairly bleak February the team have been massively motivated with their heads buried in building you an important new feature, one that we know will be well loved, and trigger a hefty increase in our monthly email bill!

You can switch these on/off and set your preferred delivery time in “My Preferences” - click your profile image at the top right in Timetastic.

Time has come to offer greater privacy levels in Timetastic.

With this release you can lockdown Timetastic so that users can only see the Wallchart for the department they work in, they won’t be able to see other departments.

Definitely useful if departments in your organisation are generally very separate, or perhaps branches of estate agents, accountants, or any other business for that matter that don’t need to see each others whereabouts.

It’s in SETTINGS > GENERAL

This was a feature requested by a customer, such a nice simple addition that should help you to see public holidays for a user.

In the Calendar summary you’ll now see the amount of Public Holidays for that year assigned to a user. If they’ve got Public Holidays turned off, or no public holidays for that year you won’t see anything.

• Fixed an issue where you can add multiple bank holidays to a single day 😱
• Sorted a problem where booking the last day of the year off won’t show up in your annual summary report for that year.

• When scrolling forward to a new leave year (or back to a previous one), your remaining allowance now updates as you cross years. 🙌🎆🎉
• Users with permission to edit their own profiles (Admins, Department Bosses) can now edit them directly from their profile in the top right.

New things

• We’ve moved the Colour blind toggle out of your profile and into its own Preferences page.
• You can also unsubscribe (or re-subscribe) to marketing emails from here. 📧

Fixed things

• Adding bank holidays with certain cyrillic or Chinese characters wouldn’t work. Now it does.
• The Made in Manchester logo now points to our Changelog rather than Twitter

Lots of maintainance fixes this time:

• Improvements / fixes for Google signin on mobile (especially iPhone) 📞
• The Apple app now supports iPad
• Further UI improvements for devices

And a bugfix:

• Hourly users can now book upto midnight if their work schedule permits
