New! Set your Business hours

You can now set your business hours in Timetastic.

And when you add new users they'll get those hours by default when they're created. 👍

It's all done in Settings > General: 


Faster wallchart & more secure.

Those of you with high refresh rate displays, large wallcharts or any combination of the two should notice the scrolling on the Wallchart is much smoother from today onwards. We've put in some optimisations that should make things fly 🏎️

Welcome screen & fixes for October

New:

New companies signing up to Timetastic now get a nice welcome screen going through some of the basics and guiding you to setup help if needed.

Improved:

We fixed editing your allowance from the preferences page.



Upgrade to Pro within Timetastic

In Settings >Billing you've now got a "Plan Selector" to pick your plan: 


Want to try out Pro and see what it's all about? Go ahead - no pro rated bills, no faff, just upgrade and we'll bill you the new price when you next get billed. Simple 👍

Downgrade before your bill date and you won't be charged (but all your Pro features will be disabled and downgraded 👋). 

So if it's Teams, SSO, HR Fields, The Burnout Board or just email digests to the whole company you want, now you can get them with a click or two. 


July Improvements

Few small things we've rounded up.

1) A fix to the department filter on the book form and we fixed that pesky off by 2 pixel date picker too. 🔧

2) Weekly summary emails are more compact and we've improved the layout for who is off on a particular day

3) Technical bits incoming! 🤓 We've turned HTTP3 on to make things even faster for those of you that can support it (Chrome, Edge, Firefox & Samsung Internet). From our initial trials we're seeing over 25% of our traffic using it and image heavy page loads (Wallchart & Users page) are seeing improvements already. 🏎



June fixes & Improvements II

Most of this update is to improve and prepare things for the new mobile app and get us ready for more people to jump into testing it.

Elsewhere in Timetastic:

  • Resetting your password no longer resets your API Key (Sorry to anyone this caught out!)
  • Privacy mode copy is clearer to what the toggles are doing
  • Improvements to Office365 Calendar syncs to reduce the chance of it disconnecting 🤞


Account recycling

Improvement:

We've automated our account recycling policy. There's little reason to hold onto personal data in old/dormant Timetastic accounts, both from a data protection point of view and the unnecessary use of server space and power.

Timetastic accounts that go inactive for over 18 months will be flagged for recycling and warnings sent by email.

Fix:

Fixed the display of what time your next burnout snapshot is due to be sent out

Google Workspace & Email Summary improvements 🛠

Hello 👋 

We've got a few fixes and updates going out today. Here's the details:

Email summaries

They now know about daylight savings, so when you set your time to 9am, it'll actually be delivered at 9am all of the time 🙌 not just when the timezones align!

In addition we've made the "who is absent" lookup timezone aware too, so you should get better results if you're offset from UTC by a fair bit...🦘

Google Workspace

Our sync engine has been robustified to handle Google's updates better. The end result is you should see more reliable user syncing and quicker updates in Timetastic. 

Other updates

When cancelling leave we weren't always notifying the person and their boss. That's fixed now, so we notify correctly in this situation.
